About Us

Inspiring Creativity Since 2003

Our Story

Nibblins began in 2003 as a single cart at the Apple Blossom Mall, founded by Susan Dolinar and Darlene Utter. That first cart offered gourmet foods, cookbooks, and unique gifts—and quickly grew. By the end of the year, Susan’s husband, Blair, joined the business, and in 2004, a second cart was added featuring nostalgic candies and Jelly Belly jelly beans.

Later that same year, the mall invited Nibblins to open a storefront. Their first shop introduced kitchen tools, chocolates, and accessories from trusted brands. Over the years, Nibblins continued expanding—adding fudge, coffee, gift baskets, and eventually a demonstration kitchen for cooking classes and private events.

In 2011, the store moved to Rutherford Crossing, where a home-style teaching kitchen allowed even more opportunities for hands-on learning and connection.

Since 2019, Nibblins has called Old Town Winchester home. The move brought a return to small-scale charm with a refined focus on customer service, handpicked products, and community-centered cooking experiences. Through every change, one thing has stayed the same—we’re a true mom-and-pop shop built on relationships, creativity, and a love of good food.

Helping food lovers and cooks make their culinary experiences more enjoyable by offering a wide selection of quality ingredients, tools, and hands-on education—backed by warm, personal service.
