The silicone foodloop® will adjust from 1-inch to a 4-inch loop. No need to oil thefoodloop® before cinching on food. For larger diameter food items, such as a roast, snap several of thefoodloop® together. Next place thefoodloop® around food, grab finger bars on sides of cavity then with the other hand grasp tail end and pull to desired tightness. Note: thefoodloop® may skip a notch or two on oiler foods until it finds its resting place due to the non-stick and flexible nature of silicone. Note: for added grip and easy handling while cooking tuck the tail end under cord once cinched on food. Now cook food as needed.
After cooking remove thefoodloop® by simply pulling up the tail end to disconnect.
Remove any large pieces of food from the cord or the cavity, soak in warm sudsy water or place loops in the mesh dishwasher bag and wash. Then store thefoodloop® in the mesh bag for your next trussing event!
